THE WORLDDIDN’TEND.

DEADRUN ONLINE: a creature-collector for the rot you live in.

Long ago the world fell to its hungers—the slow, shambling appetite of the dead. But Kowloon 9 endured. It stacked itself higher and higher, twelve layers of concrete, rust, saltwater, and neon, each pressing down on the next. You’re a deadrunner living on S-4. Cheap walls, cheaper air, and neighbors who don’t ask questions because they’ve got better things to hide.

You’ve got three chimeras at your back, though you’re not sure who owns who anymore. The daemon in your ear won’t shut up, but at least it’s honest about being a parasite.

The city’s a disaster. Always has been. Always will be. But at least it’s yours.

WHAT IS IT

Collect

Over a hundred chimeras to collect across fifteen types. Some you print, some you bargain for, some you find half feral in the Brine. Will you collect all of them? Or are you the kind of deadrunner to focus on a cutthroat team of three and make do?

Run

5–25 minute runs. Pick a contract, pick a stake. Bid free or bid five-deep and trust the chimeras at your back. Win and the cut clears your rent; lose and the cult posts a bounty board with your handle on it.

Live

Daily contracts. Chimeras need feeding or they degrade. Mondays the Corps run audit, Wednesdays the Watch sweeps, Fridays the Cult holds Vigil. Rent’s on the 1st, and Meridian doesn’t forget.
